Situated in the beautiful village of Flushing known for its annual regatta, this delightful holiday cottage is within easy walking distance of Flushing beach and village amenities.

Although small, Flushing Village is a thriving, bustling and close-knit community of young families, business owners, artists and craftspeople that maintains a lively, vibrant village way of life. The village shop is a well-stocked general store selling almost anything that you might need – hot pasties, bread, homemade cakes, scones, groceries, newspapers and beers and wines – and is situated just minutes away from the house along Trefusis Road. It’s a friendly place and a great source for local information.

Flushing is known as Cornwall’s secret riviera, boasting to be one of the warmest villages in the UK. The village was built in the 18th Century, named after a town in Holland from where Dutch engineers were brought to build the quays. Many of the captains of the packet ships built their houses here, favouring Flushing over Falmouth with its notorious noxious odours.
